#UnderTheSheets with... Blanca Miró!

Earlier this year, Blanca Miró, a fashion consultant and one of most respected Spanish influencers, shared a carousel of some photos from a relaxed night at home and highlighted pyjamas from Under Sleepwear.

Her choice was the Royal Blue Stripes Pyjama Set, which included her initials embroidered in blue. It is a two-piece set, in a luxurious blue and white striped fabric, of trousers and a short-sleeved shirt, which gives all the comfort we privilege on a home evening.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO LIVE IT WITH BORING SLEEPWEAR!

We've always loved pyjama sets, but never found the perfect one. Until, in 2020, we decided to take an old dream out of the drawer and create Under Sleepwear.

Introducing beautiful and stylish (not boring!) pyjamas was our main goal, but we quickly realised that through this idea we could also contribute to a better world. We never forget the importance of sleep in physical and mental health (nor do we let you forget that!) and we believe that moments of pause are as productive as the busiest days.

We produce in small quantities and advocate that quality will always be more important. All Under Sleepwear pyjamas are produced in the North of Portugal, where we are able to connect with the people involved and ensure they have fair working conditions. We are proud to say that we work with factories and people who are in tune with our ethical values and who are excited by our ideas, prints, colours and collections.

Designed to last and provide the non-negotiable comfort we all crave for on a good night's sleep or an afternoon spent between movies and popcorn (not to mention a trip to the beach or dinner on the town!), Under Sleepwear pyjamas are unique garments (especially if you add a monogram, a date or a special word!). We believe that we should wear what we like, without preconceptions or rules, and that pyjamas can be as versatile and fun as a dress or a blouse.

At the same time, we work to make Under Sleepwear an increasingly (yes, more!) sustainable project.

We use leftover fabrics from the cutting of our pyjamas to create the scrunchies we give away with every order (aren't they lovely?) and we are always thinking of new ways to give a new life to materials that would otherwise be considered waste.

We know that our criteria forces us to price higher than brands that produce internationally, where labour is more affordable, but going down that route would call into question what we want Under Sleepwear to be for us and for all the customers who support us.

We hope that when the time comes to put on your pyjamas, you feel free, stylish and proud of your choice.
